10 teams, including seven from Cornwall, to compete in Pepsi Juniors

Six junior women’s teams, and four junior men’s rinks, including seven teams from Cornwall, have signed up for the Pepsi Provincial Junior Men’s and Junior Women’s Curling Championships, scheduled for December 27-31 at the Maple Leaf Curling Club in O’Leary. The winning teams will advance to the 2018 New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championships,  January 13-21 in Shawinigan Quebec.

Defending PEI junior women’s champ Lauren Lenentine from Cornwall is back his year, while there will be a new junior men’s champ, as last year’s winning skip Tyler Smith will be representing New Brunswick at the nationals, on the Liam Marin rink from Saint John, and his third from last year, Brooks Roche, is competing on the Ryan Abraham rink in the Nova Scotia junior championships, also from Dec. 27-31.
