Team Schut lead Colin MacKenzie wins a Fairplay Award at Canadian U18 (Updated)

The Canadian Under 18 Boy’s and Girl’s Curling Championships wrap up today with the 6 pm Gold and Bronze medal games (Follow the action: ) in St. Andrew’s New Brunswick. Fair Play Awards, as recognized by the officials at the championships, were awarded for each of the 4 boy’s and girl’s playing positions plus coach, with Colin MacKenzie from PEI’s Team Mitchell Schut winning the boy’s award for the lead position. Here are the winners:

 

Fair Play Award boys winners (Right to Left): Skip – Ryan McNeil Lamswood, NL; Third – Adam Tracy, NB; Second – Gabriel Dyck, AB; Lead – Colin MacKenzie, PE; Coach – Bryan Miki, BC

 

(Girl’s, Right to Left): Skip – Annkatrin Perron, QC; Third – Carly Smith, NB Host; Second – Chantal Hoag, SK; Lead – Piper Croisier, NO; Coach – Bruce Cox, ON

  1. What a wonderfull evening !!! It surely makes you wonder If the decision to moove was the right one. Edmond and I realised that we were members of the most amazing curling club ever. We know that we never will find another one like it. It”s unique because of the spirit of it’s members and administrators and this is one thing that you can’t duplicate. We love you all and surely will miss you. Au revoir! Bisous.
