Cornwall hosting both Maritime and Canadian 2 person stick ch’ships next season

There’s been a lot of interest in doubles curling recently, especially with Canada winning an Olympic Gold Medal in Mixed Doubles. Here at the Cornwall Curling Club, we’ve been playing 2-person curling for years, with our very popular Stick Curling league. And we’re good at it too, having won lots of Maritime stick championships, as well as the Canadian title (both divisions), on home ice, when we hosted the Canadian Championship, back in 2013.

As you may have heard at our Annual General Meeting on Friday, both the Maritime and the Canadian 2 person stick curling championships are returning to our Club next season, with the Maritime, which we last hosted in 2016, taking place from March 15-17 2019., and the  Canadian championship being held from March 31 to April 3rd.  For entry details for the Canadians, visit canadianstickcurling.ca

We’ll be looking for volunteers as these events approach!
