Free Introduction to Curling sessions
If you would like to try out the sport of curling, be sure to attend one of our free “Introduction to Curling” nights, October 12, 13, and 14, 2010 from 7-9 pm. There will be a lesson on curling, including its basic concepts and ethics, followed by a video, and then you will take to the ice to throw some rocks and have some fun. Bring clean sneakers, and wear stretchy or loose pants, and a light jacket. Everything else will be provided. These sessions are for adults only (junior curlers receive instruction as part of their regular program) and there is no obligation to join the Club.
To further your training, if you become a Club member, you will be able to book ongoing curling lessons, at no charge, throughout the season, by contacting Bev, our Manager.
Curling is a wonderful sport to pass the winter, get some exercise, socialize, and have some fun!
