Welcome to the Cornwall Curling Club. located in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island. Curling is great exercise and a lot of fun! Our club emphasizes the social and recreational aspects of the game and welcomes both new and experienced curlers. While the last teams were still out on the course, the early-finishers kept to the shady part of the deck, and kept hydrated with copious quantities of liquids.

Finally, the last teams finished play, and it was time for the awards ceremony.
It turned out that the last team on the course, a three-person team consisting of Bob Fowler, Bev (Nucker) Richards, and Dan MacRae (who seemed to know his way around the course) emerged the winners, with an amazing three under par. Organizer Rick Doiron was determined not to give the trophy to any team containing Bob Fowler, and presented them each with a golf ball instead.

The last prize presented was for the "most determined" team, which included Paul Arsenault and Mary Plamondon.

After the awards, door prizes were drawn for those present. As usual, very few, if any, went home empty-handed.
The great weather resulted in one of the largest turnouts ever, around 60 participants. Incoming curling club president John DeLuca was on hand to thank the golfers, and the organizers, including Bob Fowler, Rick Doiron, Carol Sweetapple, Ray Biage, and Karen and Carl Currie, and said that he hoped to see everyone back at the Cornwall Curling Club in October.
