A Message to Our Membership and Community User Groups

The Government of  PEI and the PEI Chief Public Health Officer issued a number of directives this past Sunday afternoon regarding the current Covid-19 situation on the Island. One of these directives that directly impacted the Club was that there would be a restriction on the playing of team sports during the period of 7 – 21 December.

Your Return to Play Committee, in consultation with our various stakeholders, is continuing to plan for our return to the ice the week of 21 December.

In order to minimize the overall effect on scheduling we are going to perform our mid-season ice maintenance from 17 – 19 December instead of just after Christmas.

All Leagues and curling will be scheduled to resume the week of 21 December and will also be scheduled during the week between Christmas and New Year, 27 to 31 December and 2 January. As usual, the Club will be closed at 12:00 noon on 24 December and be closed Dec. 25 – 26 December. We will also close at 12:00 noon on 31 December, and remaining closed on 1 January.

We are aware that this is a very dynamic situation and that this schedule may be subject to change. Rest assured that your Health and Safety are our prime concern and that the Cornwall Curling Club will be ready to welcome our members back safely when we are allowed to do so.
