IMPORTANT DATES and Update to Registration Days!
The Board of Directors for the Cornwall Curling Club has met and approved the 2021-22 schedule. (Please note details below).
We would like to take the time to thank former Club Vice-President Peter Murdoch for returning to his role as our club “Return to Play” Chair. Peter presented the 2021-22 “Return to Play” recommendations to the Board of Directors for their consideration and discussion.
We know many of you are curious about what our protocol will be. Please stay tuned to our website and social media for more information to come. The “Return to Play” committee and our Board of Directors remain committed to the safety of our membership, as we were during the 2020-21 season. With this in mind, we will continue to follow the expertise and guidance of the Chief Public Health Office, and continue ongoing consultation of our stakeholders and partners.
There will be plenty of club news and updates to come in the following days, including exciting news in regards to an exciting new fundraising initiative and a chance to WIN some big money!
Here are all the details for our 2021-22 registration and our first month of club operations:

Please note the changes to previously-announced registration dates:Returning Members’ Registration
Please note “returning members” is defined as members who are returning from the 2020-21 season. You may register for the leagues you curled in, and/or new leagues. However please note if you are registering for a new league, those who were registered in the 2020-21 season for that league will be given the first opportunity, then members who are returning, but from another league, will be next.
Monday, September 27th at 9 am:
“Returning Members’ (from 2020-21 season) Registration begins, ONLINE ONLY
Monday, October 4th at 9 am:
“Returning (from 2020-21 season) Members Registration continues online at https://cornwallcurling.com/registration or https://cornwall.curling.io plus In-person at 29 Cornwall Rd. between Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm or via phone at 902-566-4427 during our business hours.
Please note this is on a first-come-first-served basis. Each registration should take approx. ten to fifteen minutes.
NEW Members Registration
Monday, October 11th at 9 am:
“New Members” Registration begins, online at https://cornwallcurling.com/registration or https://cornwall.curling.io, in-person at 29 Cornwall Rd. Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm or via phone at 902-566-4427 during our business hours.

Season Startup Calendar

Friday, October 1st, 2021: Ice installation begins.
Monday, October 4th, 2021: On-line registration for “returning members” at https://cornwallcurling.com/registration or https://cornwall.curling.io continues. In-person or by phone, “returning members” registration begins at 9 am.
Monday, October 11th, 2021: Online registration for New Members begins at 9 am at https://cornwallcurling.com/registration or https://cornwall.curling.io. In-person and phone registration are also available, beginning at 9 am.
Saturday, October 16th, 2021: First rocks will be thrown! Event details to come!
Sunday, October 17th, 2021: Sunday Morning Curling begins 10 am to 12 noon.
Sunday, October 17th, 2021: Little Rockers (age 6-7) and Novice (age 8-12) Open House and Registration take place from 1 pm to 3 pm.
Monday, October 18th, 2021: Daytime Curling begins, including Morning Drop-In Curling 10 am to 12 noon, Afternoon Stick Curling Drop-In 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, Junior Team Practice 3:30 pm to 6 pm.
Tuesday, October 19th to Thursday, October 21, 2021: Adult Learn to Curl 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. More details to follow.
Friday, October 22nd, 2021: All league play begins, starting with Friday Night Fun League at 6:30 pm
Sunday, October 24th, 2021: Little Rockers (age 6-7) Instructional Program begins, from 1-2 pm, with Novice (age 8-12) instructional sessions beginning, from 2 pm-3 pm,
Doubles curling begins, at a new time — 3:30 pm.
Doubles curling begins, at a new time — 3:30 pm.
Monday, October 25th, 2021: Monday Single-Entry Mixed begins at 6:30 pm, with Evening Commercial League following at 8:30 pm.
Tuesday, October 26th, 2021: First day of Tuesday Curling for Novice (age 8-12) from 4:45 to 6 pm.
Tuesday Evening Competitive League begins at 6:30 pm with a second draw at 8:30 pm.
Wednesday, October 27th, 2021: Wednesday Evening Ladder League begins at 6:30 pm with Qualifier Night (teams are drawn at random to play each other, with winners going to “A” pool and the rest going to “B” for Round 1).
Thursday, October 28th, 2021: Thursday Evening Single-Entry Mixed League begins at 6:30 and 8:30 pm.
Saturday, November 6th, 2021: U16 Development League starts, from 9 am to 12 noon.
