Cornwall Curling Club returning to 2 sweepers, effective immediately

Curl PEI has recently amended their Operational Plan relating to gameplay and has removed the “One sweeper per rock” requirement. The Cornwall Curling Club’s Return to Play Committee has discussed and voted on this, and, effective immediately, we will return to “normal” rules i.e. having 2 sweepers allowed on each rock,

Teams are welcome to continue to use one sweeper if they so wish.

As well, skips and thirds may now sweep delivered stones and stones set in motion in the house as per normal Curling Canada Rules of Play. The skip of the non-delivering team is required to stand behind the backline when not sweeping but can enter the house when sweeping.

Curlers are required to continue to follow physical distancing requirements as much as possible.
