It’s down to the Sunday Championship Round at the Pepsi Provincial Junior Curling Championships at the Silver Fox in Summerside and the four teams still in the event are all from Cornwall. Cornwall’s Team Mitchell Schut could have won the Junior Men’s title on Saturday evening with a win against their clubmates the Brayden Snow rink, but Snow won that final qualifier game in the Modified Triple Knockout event, scoring two triples and keeping Schut to singles in a 9-3 victory in the evening draw.

However, Schut, who won the other two sections, has a big advantage on Sunday, as a Championship Round win at either 10 am or 3 pm will give him the Junior Men’s title, while Snow would have to win both games.
Both teams live-stream their games on their respective Facebook pages.
Meanwhile, Cornwall’s Rachel MacLean rink has the same “double life” advantage as Schut, in the Junior Women’s Championship Round at the same times, while her opponent and clubmate, Katie Shaw would have to win both games to become champion. MacLean beat Shaw 9-2 in the Saturday evening “C” Qualifier, and also won the “A” event, while Shaw won the B.
