The four winners of our $50 bill Loonie Draw were drawn, by bartender Al MacCormac, at our Closing Spiel dinner Saturday evening. With this draw, entrants had to print their name and phone number on a round sticker, attach it to a Loonie, and put the Loonie in a jar. The four $50 bills were embedded in the curling ice, behind the near end hacks. We haven’t counted the Loonies yet, but the draw was definitely profitable for the Club. The four winners were:
Paul Neima, Hank Kamphuis, Derek Gallant, and Gabe Taweel were the winners. Paul and Hank were both in the closing spiel, but Hank had gone home, so Paul was selected to go out on the ice and extract his fifty.
