The Board of Directors would like to extend their thanks to all members who have provided feedback, filled out our club survey, and have waited anxiously as we worked diligently on our ‘Return to Play’ plan for the 2020-21 curling season!
As we have mentioned previously, there have been many volunteers, stakeholders, community oversight bodies, and community members, as a part of the plan to get us on the ice and curling during the 2020-21 season! We extend our gratitude to all!
The Board of Directors has formulated and approved the following “Refund Policy “ relating specifically to the current global pandemic.

Pandemic Refund Policy
The COVID-19 Pandemic has created uncertainty for starting and completing the 2020/21 curling season. This policy has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors to apply to the 2020/21 season to address events where the club does not open at all or if the CCC is forced to close for part of the season.
The Pandemic Refund Policy is intended to address requests for a refund of Cornwall Curling Club registration fees only. Any CurlPEI fees, and Curl Canada fees are non-refundable from the Cornwall Curling Club as the Club collects and remits those fees. Any applicable refund request for CurlPEI and/or Curl Canada would need to be considered by those organizations.
The Board of Directors may authorize the refund of a portion or all of the annual dues paid by a Member if circumstances beyond the control of the Member intervene which preclude the Member’s participation in the rights and privileges of membership.
If the Club is ordered or directed to be closed by a Federal or Provincial Public Health Office (s), the Town of Cornwall, or for any reason relating to public health concerns as determined by the Board of Directors for all or a portion of the curling season (defined as 21 weeks of scheduled league games), refunds may be requested on a pro-rated basis.
If the Club is directed to close for the remainder of the season after 10 weeks of play, a member may request to receive a refund equivalent to 11 weeks of membership dues; and
if the Club is directed to close for a period of 6 weeks and play resumes, a member may request to receive a refund equivalent to 6 weeks of membership dues.
All refunds will be subject to a $10.00 Administration fee.
How do I request a refund?
Refund requests must be submitted to the Club Manager in writing/email for Board of Directors approval.
Requests must be made within 1 month of the last day the member curled.
This policy will be reviewed by the Cornwall Curling Club Board of Directors on an annual basis.
