After listening to Dr. Heather Morrison during Tuesday’s regular update and her recommendation to not travel off PEI, the Cornwall Under 18 team skipped by Mitchell Schut announced that they have decided to withdraw from this weekend’s Junior Fall Spiel at Curl Moncton. Team Easter from the Silver Fox has made a similar announcement, and we have been informed that Cornwall’s Dalton and Ella Lenentine teams have withdrawn as well.
UPDATE: It has now been announced that Moncton is moving to Orange Level at Midnight, and Curl Moncton is “effectively closing to members” at that time, so this event would have to be cancelled or postponed.
