Happy New Year! Things (almost) back to normal at the Cornwall Curling Club

The holidays are over, and it’s time to work off the turkey and eggnog! We’re back and curling here at the Club, beginning with this morning’s daytime “drop-in” draw. The draws for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are a go. Here is this (Tuesday) evening’s MR Seafoods Competitive League draw:

6:30 PM 
Ice 1: J.Taylor vs B. Hope
Ice 2: D Rhodenhizer vs V. Smith
Ice 3: C. Creighton vs S. Hope
Ice 4: S. Howatt vs L. Lenentine

8:30 PM
Ice 1: M. Schut  vs M. O’Rourke
Ice 2: M. MacDonald vs S. MacInnis
Ice 3: D. Schut vs P. Durant
Ice 4: B. Spence vs S. Berry

Please note that there is no Daytime Team League this Wednesday – it resumes next week. There will be drop-in curling from 10 until noon instead. The Wednesday Evening Ladder League IS ON this week, as the Scotties and Tankard curling doesn’t start until the next day.

Curling on Thursday and Friday will be affected by the Scotties and Tankard, with draws at 2 and 7 both days, and ice maintenance, too. We’ll have an official announcement later on cancellations on those days and the upcoming weekend. It’s safe to assume that the Thursday evening member draws are off. And, to make things interesting, there’s a storm forecast for Thursday!
