Our sympathies to Jessie MacPhail

The Cornwall Curling Club extends its sympathies to daytime member Jessie MacPhail on the passing of her husband Neil.

1941-2022

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, January 14, 2022 of Neil MacPhail of Charlottetown, age 80 years. Beloved husband of Jessie (nee Howatt) MacPhail and dear father of Steven (Deborah) and Penzie. He is also survived by five loving grandchildren Jamison (Candace) Peconi, Sam MacPhail, Jack MacPhail, Will MacPhail, Kate MacPhail; great granddaughter Layla Peconi; brothers and sisters Mona Wilson, Sadie (Gary) Mingo, Hope (Donald) MacNutt, William (Geraldine) MacPhail, Allan (Sandra) MacPhail; sisters-in-law Helen (Delbert) Carr, Heather (Wendell) MacDonald, Marilyn MacPhail, Arlene MacPhail and brother-in-law Myron Matheson.
He was predeceased by his parents Neil and Katie (nee MacPhee) MacPhail; brothers and sisters Ralph, Leitha, John, Woodrow, Merrill, Grace, Myrna, Clarence “Duke”, Leonard, Marion and Faye.

Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where a private funeral service (by invitation only) will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment later in Argyle Shore Cemetery.
Due to current restrictions, there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or Clyde River Presbyterian Church.

The funeral service will be videotaped and uploaded for viewing by visiting Neil’s obituary on the funeral home website on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
