The Board of the Cornwall Curling Club would like to invite all members to please join them in a small reception congratulating the team of Suzanne Birt, Shelly Bradley, Robyn MacPhee, Leslie MacDougall, and Coach Paul Power for winning the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts Provincial Women’s Curling Championship, hosted here in Cornwall. The reception will be held on Tuesday, February 8 from 8 pm. The Birt team will now be advancing to the national Scotties being held in Charlottetown from February 19th to 27th. Please come out to show your support for our PEI team! (note – the Birt team are members of our club, and curl in our Tuesday evening competitive league).
