The Island Reds have a narrow 45-42 lead over the Countryview Blues going into day two of the Countryview Golf/PEI Brewing Co. Closing Spiel at the Cornwall Curling Club. If past records, which show the two sides almost even over the years, are any indication, the lead may change several times during the final six draws on Saturday, so the Reds will have to remain sharp to maintain their slim advantage.
Costumes of both colours were in full force on Friday, and food was plentiful, too! Mussels were served up (and muscles were displayed):

Finally, the curling was over for the day, and it was time to hit the dance floor, with music by DWX music service:
There’s live Celtic music in store for Saturday, lots more curling, and a closing meal and winner’s circle too!
