Making the presentation is club president Kim Nickerson, left, and Roy Coffin, a member of the selection committee and the club’s first president.
The award was presented at the club’s annual general meeting May 16.
The other nominees for this season’s Founder’s Award were Angela Sanderson, Paul Neima, Gloria Turner and Linda Fairhurst.
The award was established in the 2022-2023 season to recognize both the 40th anniversary of the club, and the role of the original founders and volunteers in establishing the curling club.
The inaugural winner was Landon Warder.
