The third and final session of our introduction to curling for Newcomers to Canada was held last evening. We had over thirty in attendance each of the 1st two weeks, and over 20 the third week, with many coming back multiple nights. By all reports, they really enjoyed their intro to the very Canadian winter sport of curling!
Thanks to everyone who helped out, including Carlene Peters, Paula Ling, Derek MacEwen, Brenda MacMillan, Brent Irving, Angela Sanderson, Lisa and Dean MacEachern, Edgar and Emma Coffin, Frank Martin, and Carolyn Crockett, as well as Debby and Kelly at the bar and looking after the hot chocolate and cookies!
