The UPEI Women Panthers, skipped by Veronica Smith, avenged their opening draw loss to Mt. A with a convincing 8-1win over the UNB Varsity Reds this evening to improve to 1-1 (win-loss) at the 2018 Subway AUS Curling Championships in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The championships run through February 11.
UPEI stole four points in the second end and a single in the third for a 5-0 lead after just three ends in this evening’s match.
