Cdn. Mixed underway in Yarmouth. Cornwall’s Veronica Smith rink on Eastlink this aft.

The Canadian Mixed Curling Championship got underway Sunday evening at the Mariners Centre in Yarmouth NS. Here’s Team PEI, skipped by Veronica  Smith out of the Cornwall Curling Club, and Team NB, skipped by Charlie Sullivan, at the opening ceremonies.

 

These two teams square off at 2:30 this afternoon. It’ll be PEI’s first game, while NB lost a close 3-2 battle Sunday evening to Ontario’s Wayne Tuck, the 2009 runner-up at the event.

This afternoon’s game will be broadcast live on Eastlink TV on Cable 10 and 610. If you don’t have Eastlink, you can watch it here at the curling club.

PEI faces Alberta at 7 pm.
