A highlight of the Daytime Curlers Christmas event today was the unveiling of a plaque in memory of Club founder Gordie Hermann, who passed away recently. Gordie, who continued to curl here until very recently, was on the village council at the time that a curling club was proposed for Cornwall, sat on the committee that met weekly to plan and implement the project, and then moved on to sit on the charter Board of Directors for the Club.
