The winner of the $50.00 cash prize for “Come Try Our Game” (Stick Curling) is Gloria Clarke. Lance Lowther drew the winning entry.
The prize was sponsored by your local Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network in order to promote the sport of Stick Curling.
They invited regular members to come and try the 2 person stick curling game, either delivering with a stick or a slide delivery, but following the stick rules. Each time they tried it (and signed in), they got a ballot for the drawing, which took place at the Daytime Christmas Party.
