The sign up sheet for our Club’s playdowns for the provincial The Dominion Curling Club Championship has been posted on the bulletin board by the bar. Sign up before Jan. 18th!
In order to encourage participation in the club Dominion playdowns, the Board of Directors has voted to modify The Dominion Eligibility rule number 2 to offer members more flexibility in creating teams. Teams may be made up of any members who have paid a membership and have signed up for at least one regular draw. It is not necessary for team members to have played on the same team throughout the year. Annual membership dues must be paid in full prior to The Dominion entry deadline of January 18th.
The Club playdowns will be held the weekend of Jan. 25-27. The men’s and women’s winners will advance to the provincial The Dominion championship, March 6-10 at the Western Community Curling Club in Alberton. The national event will take place Nov. 26-30 2013 at the Fort William Curling Club in Thunder Bay Ont.
