The three winners from each of the four Atlantic provinces for Curl Atlantic’s Joyce Myers Scholarship Fund have been announced. Cornwall has two winners – Katie Fullerton and Chloé McCloskey, while Montagues’s Brooks Roche is the third PEI recipient. The recipients will receive their $500 cheques on Oct. 1, after proof of enrollment at a university or college is provided.
The Board of Trustees of the Joyce Myers Trust Fund created the Scholarship Fund as a means to assist our talented full time student athletes in Atlantic Canada. Priority is given to athletes attending Atlantic universities, colleges or vocational schools.
