Play got underway this morning in the Provincial Seniors Curling Championships in Charlottetown, and the 17 and Under in Summerside.
The three Cornwall women’s teams entered in the Seniors, skipped by Karen Currie, Debbie Rhodenhizer, and defending champion Shirley Berry, all picked up wins in the 9 am opening draw.
Four Cornwall rinks, skipped by Jeff Taylor, Tyler Smith, Veronica Smith, and Tricia Sanderson, are participating in the 17 and Under event in Summerside. The junior men’s games got underway at 11, while the junior women see action at 3 pm.
