PEI’s men’s and women’s teams, skipped by Cornwall’s Bill and Sandy Hope, split their Tuesday games at the Canadian Masters Curling Championships, for curlers age 60 and over, being played in White Rock and Surrey BC.
The PEI men lost a back and forth game against New Brunswick by a 7-5 score, but picked up a 6-5 win over Northern Ontario to improve to 2-2 win-loss.
The PEI women picked up their first win on Tuesday, following a 7-4 loss to Nova Scotia with a 7-4 win over New Brunswick to go to a 1-3 win-loss record.
PEI teams both play the Yukon in their lone Wednesday games.
Nova Scotia and Sask. are still undefeated in the women’s event, while Alberta is 4-0 in the men’s.
