First of 3 Learn to Curl, Open House, New Member Registration sessions held

The first curlers of the season took to the ice Wednesday evening at our Free Adult Curling School. There was a pretty good turnout, even with the warm weather and the Blue Jays game, and a number of the attendees signed on as members. Welcome! Thanks to everyone who attended, and those who helped out on and off the ice.  By the way, the instructors commented that the newly refurbished rocks had great curl.

If you missed the first night, don’t worry, we’re doing it again tonight (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. If you attended Wednesday, you are invited to come back – we have continuing classes each night. If you are new, we have starter classes each night too! It’s FREE, and you are under no obligation to join the Club. The evening curling school is designed for adults only, as younger curlers receive training as part of their regular instructional program. Please bring clean sneakers and wear loose fitting or stretchy pants and a light jacket.

Registration for new members (or returning members who haven’t yet signed up), and an Open House, for those who just want to have a look around, happen at the same time. Everyone welcome – the bar and Pro Shop (check out our sale on icePad brushes) are open, too!

We also have daytime curling on from 10 to noon Thursday and Friday. $10 drop-in fee for non-members.
