Hydration is important during any sport, and the Cornwall Curling Club is happy to provide complimentary ice water for use during your game. With the current focus on cutting down on single-use plastics, starting with the huge success of eliminating single-use carry-out bags at PEI stores, you may want to consider getting a reusable plastic water bottle. Plastic cups cost a few cents each, and some PEI hockey rink canteens provide free water but charge a dime for the cup. We have no plans to charge for cups, but water bottles hold more, won’t break or spill water onto the ice if you drop them, ensure that you aren’t drinking from someone else’s cup, are environmentally-friendly, and look professional, too! Of course, when you get off the ice, it’s time to put the bottle away and continue your hydration at the bar!
