Monday Evening Single Entry Mixed Orientation and Round One Draw set to go!

The 6:30 pm Monday Evening Single-Entry Mixed Draw is set to kick off with Orientation on Oct. 19.

The drawmasters, Brad Gardiner and Stephanie O’Keefe, will be away that night, so Peter Murdoch from the Return to Play Committee and Club President (and member of this draw) Chris MacDougall, also on the Committee, will lead the orientation. We are requesting that all curlers from that draw be in attendance. If everyone can’t attend then the skip and/or a designated team rep should attend, and will be responsible to inform the missing team members of the new procedures and guidelines.

Following the Orientation session, teams will have a chance to take to the ice to practice and become familiar with the new requirements, including “social distancing” and one sweeper, and play a practice game if they wish, followed by the “social” time (under the new guidelines) back in the Clubhouse.

Round One will begin the following week (Oct. 26)
