The Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development minister, Hon. Ron MacKinley has requested the Cornwall Curling Club as the venue to make some funding announcements. We hope this includes some funding assistance wih our rock refurbishing. The time and date of this announcement is Wed, Feb 18th (today) at 2:30PM. Club members are invited to attend. Sweets and coffee will be served. We expect the announcement may also include funding announcements for the APM Centre and the Lions Club as well. Our Club President Frank Martin, along with Facilities chair Jeffrey Taylor are scheduled to attend.
As well, this is an excellent opportunity to wish the Hon. Ron MacKinley best of luck in his future endeavors, and thank him for all he has done for our Club over the years. As you know, he has decided to retire from 29 years in politics when the next election comes around.
