We have the most wonderful and generous members…
Earlier this week our club Daytime Committee Member Myrna, and club Volunteer and former Daytime Committee member Elaine, packed up another BIG load of donated goods, and dropped them off to the Cornwall Food Bank as a part of our 3rd Annual Food Drive!! The bags and boxes were filled with beautiful and practical foods that many families will need this holiday season….and into the long winter months.
Today our Daytime Committee Member and Food Bank Volunteer Eugene also picked up another envelope of cash donations to help with various needs the food bank deems essential. A heartfelt thank you to Roddie, Anonymous, Karen and Carl, Ken and Deniece, and Shirley for your donations!
Our members have been so tremendously charitable and we are humbled to have helped with such an important need in the community. Many of our members have brought multiple loads on different days and have donated groceries and cash. It truly is … so special.
Our food drive will continue until December 24th… We are welcoming donations from all of our Club Member who participate in daytime, evening, and/ or weekend leagues. You can leave your donations under the “Daytime” table to your left when you come in the clubhouse, or under the Christmas tree. Thank you!
