We’ve got three No Cost/No Obligation opportunities coming up for adults to give curling a try and/or learn to curl! Apparently information was sent out from other places that may have indicated that the curling school is this week. The Curling School is, in fact, next week (Oct. 15-17).
Open House, Curling School and New Members Registration Evenings
Our FREE, no obligation, adult Learn to Curl sessions will take Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings Oct 15-17 from 6:30 to 8:30 or so. Come any one, any two, or all three nights! We will have both new and continuing classes each night, as well as basic demonstrations. Wear loose-fitting or stretchy pants, a light jacket, gloves, and bring clean sneakers. Everything else you need will be provided.
New members’ registration for adults will take at the same time, and Board of Directors members and staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. It’s also an Open House, so, if you’re curious, just stop by, ask any questions you may have, and have a look around (be sure to check out the bar!). Curlers may also register online at any time beginning October 7 at CornwallCurling.com/registration.
Please note that these Curling School sessions are for adult curlers only. Junior curlers receive instruction as part of their regular program, which begins on Oct. 27. Watch for another post with information on our Junior program.
Evening league curling starts the week of Oct. 21st.
