The Cornwall Curling Club is very pleased and excited to be hosting the 2018 PEI Scotties Tournament of Hearts Provincial Women’s Championship and the PEI Tankard Men’s Championship from January 3-9, 2018. This is the first time the two events have been held concurrently in a facility with just four ice sheets.
This will be an exciting event with great curlers from various provincial clubs, a large influx of curling enthusiasts, the socialization from the bystanders making shots from the sidelines, but more importantly, we have the opportunity to share the unity of our members from the Cornwall Curling Club. We most definitely have a beautiful facility, the best ice maker, the most charming bartender, and efficient manager, but it’s our members that give vitality to our club.
Shortly a volunteer list will be posted seeking leaders and volunteers for various responsibilities such as : hospitality and social committees, food preparation, admission tables (both doors), timers, etc.
We would, of course. appreciate having as many members as possible help out!
