Round One of three is set to go in the Wednesday evening Ladder League. We have two nine-team pools
To play all games in each round would mean we would need 9 weeks per round (play 8 teams and have a bye), so we can only play partial round robins, as the season is six weeks too short for three full rounds. Not all teams will get a bye in a round, so we will have to factor in number of games played. We will run the 1st round up to Christmas (8 weeks), so we can start Round Two in the new year. We have two weeks off for the holidays, as Christmas and New Years days are both on Wednesdays. We will split the remaining 13 weeks into 7 and 6 week rounds, with Round Two ending Feb. 19 and Round Three ending April 2.
We alternate draw times between A and B pools each week. Since the A pool had the early draw for the first week last year, we’ll give it to the B pool this year. We will have identical draws in each pool e.g. if team A1 is playing on sheet 1, team B1 will, too.
We had two teams, one from each pool, requesting byes on Nov. 6, so we have adjusted the team order so those teams are both in the same position and we can give the byes.
