We are thankful for the time that Bernie and Paul put in, both within the community and at the Cornwall Curling Club, and for the help they have provided with our 2nd Annual Food Drive!
Club Member Allan Acorn (right in picture) arrived to drop of his own generous donation and gave Bernie and Paul (left and centre, respectively, in picture) a hand loading all the groceries into the truck! Club Member Margaret Stewart (not in picture) also helped too!
There were some really great food items and no doubt many families will benefit from the generosity of our Members!
Our drive this year has been slower than last, but picked up just before the announcement of the “Circuit Breaker”. Our Club continues to accept donations during office and Pro Shop hours: currently 9-5 Monday to Friday.
We were also very humbled to receive cash donations from the ‘O’Connor Glass U16 Cornwall Classic Bonspiel’, and from Countryview Golf Club!
