This will be the second season for our online registration system, available starting October 7 at CornwallCurling.com/registration. As well, we have our traditional registration nights where you can register in person, with Board Members and Staff available to answer any questions you may have. We also take cash and cheques in addition to credit/debit on those nights and can set up adult membership payments so you can pay in two installments, with the first half due immediately, and the second due by December 1st.
All curlers, including “Daytime Only”, are encouraged to register online to speed things up for those who choose to register in person on registration nights, and to save work for our staff who would have to enter the information in the system from the paper registration forms, meaning that the in-house registration will take longer than in previous years.
In-person Returning Adult Members’ Registration is Wednesday, October 9th.
In-person registration for returning adult members (including those returning to the Junior Plus) takes place on October 9th at the Club from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. This is your chance to secure your placement in our various leagues. For team-entry leagues, priority will be given to entries with at least three returning members. New adult teams will be given first priority to fill open vacancies, and junior teams will be added as space is available. All team members must be 13 years of age or older in order to play in the evening draws.
New Adult Member and New and Returning Junior registration will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 16th starting at 6:30. New Adult Member Registration will also take place on Oct. 15 and 17 during curling school.
New members/teams will be able to fill any unclaimed spots after October 10 (we can take online entries, and confirm them later). In-house new member registration will take place at the Club at the same time as our free, no-obligation, adult curling school / curling demonstrations which will be held on October 15th, 16th, and 17th starting at 6:30 pm. Board Members will be available after each night’s curling school to answer any questions those attending the school may have, and to help with signup should they choose to become Club members.
