Album of Club photos from the days of corn brooms and film cameras!

Since we’re taking a break from curling, it’s a good time to take a trip back in time here at the Cornwall Curling Club, to the days when some curlers were still using corn brooms, and photos were taken with film cameras. We are cleaning out our old photo albums and will be scanning some, cleaning them up a bit (film colour dyes change and fade overtime) and posting them here. This first batch includes our early Club Presidents, including Ladies Presidents, back when there were separate men’s and women’s organizations, and some of our bonspiels from those days. Also found in the albums are some more recent photos, including Suzanne Gaudet (now Birt) back in her Junior Days, Russ Howard and team on a visit to our Club, and Guy Hemmings, too. Also in the mix is our first Junior champions, the rink of Nancy Coffin, Sharon Cole, Pam Sherren, and Heather Worth, with coach Roy Coffin, and the Sarah Fullerton rink, who were PEI Junior champs later on, as well as our Special Olympics curlers.
