Our evening curling leagues kick off tonight with the “Friday Night Fun League”.
If you are new to league curling we would like to highlight the importance of fielding a team for every game that you are scheduled for, as members pay their membership with the expectation of a game (and quite a few are on only one curling draw each week), so it’s very important that you make every effort to find spares so you can field four curlers for every game.

The order that you should seek spares is as follows:
1. Try to find a spare yourself.
If you cannot find one:
2. Reach out to your skip to try and help find a spare.
If the skip cannot find a spare:
Reach out to the Draw Master to see if they know of a spare.
If you cannot find a spare:
3. Reach out to the Club Manager to help find a spare.

Signup sheets will be posted for curlers to sign up to spare on various leagues nights. Once the sheets have been circulated among all leagues ~ a conclusive list will be posted on each league bulletin board. We suggest taking a photo of the spare list with your phone so you have it on hand at all times (or ask for a hard copy at the bar).

Be sure to play your part to ensure that everybody has an enjoyable curling experience this season!
