Reminder: Free Registration NEEDED for exciting Little Rock/Novice Hit, Draw, Tap Skills Competition on Sunday

The Cornwall Curling Club, in partnership with Curl PEI, is excited to offer a “Hit, Draw Tap presented by Tim Hortons” Youth Skills Competition this Sunday, March 21st, open to all Cornwall Little Rock and Novice curlers, and taking place right here at the Club! Two times to choose from — 1-2 pm or 2-3 pm.

Important:
1-Registration is required. No cost, but food (for the food bank) or cash (for KidSport PEI) donations are welcome.

2-This fun event replaces our regular Little Rocks and Novice programming on that day, If your child isn’t registered for the Competition, they will NOT have curling on that day.

3-One parent or caregiver per child can attend as a spectator (and is also welcome to help out!).

More details and how to register.

Hit, Draw, Tap, presented by Tim Hortons is a youth skills competition for 6-13 year-olds, where curlers compete individually against other youth curlers within their club, and perform three different shots, a “Hit,” a “Draw” and a “Tap.”  The program has skills appropriate to the age of the curler.

This competition is open to Cornwall Curling Club Little Rock and Novice members.  Registration is FREE, however, donations are welcome (food donations will be given to a local food bank, cash donations will be given to KidSport PEI).

Each curler must register online here:
https://pe.curling.io/en/products (Choose either the Cornwall 1-2 pm or 2-3 pm item).

We can accommodate 16 curlers for each of the two one-hour timeslots.  Coaches or an adult chaperone would be welcome to help with recording the points (we will require one per sheet, per hour).

If you have any questions, please contact Amy Duncan (aduncan@sportpei.pe.ca).
