We are pleased to report that former Cornwall junior members Sarah Fullerton, Meaghan Hughes, and Michelle McQuaid were winners this past weekend at a World Curling Tour event in Ontario. Another former Cornwall member, Kiri Campbell, who is A.J. Campbell’s daughter, is now living in Ottawa and playing lead for the Danielle Inglis rink. They made it to the semi-finals, where they lost to the rink from Japan that played the Robyn MacPhee rink in the final. A.J. is now helping to develop new junior curlers, coaching the Alexis Burris rink from our Club, who finished in the money at a Canada Games development spiel in Saint John on the weekend. It’s great to see the impact our junior program is having!
