Kenmac Energy adult funspiel coming up at month-end

Get ready for our Club’s annual Kenmac Energy Funspiel, which takes place the evening of Friday January 30, and all day Saturday the 31st. A signup sheet should be up by the weekend. Last year’s event had a full complement of 24 teams (we originally planned for 16) with the Paul Neima rink coming out as the winners. Note that this is a mixed event, with skip and mate having to be of opposite sex (note that you can have three men or three women on a team, as long as there is one member of the opposite sex in the skip or mate position). This event is open to all curlers, including non-members and members of other clubs. Team entry, or single entry and you will be put on a team.

Details (last year’s info – could vary slightly)

Each team plays three 6-end games (one Friday night, one Saturday morning and one Saturday afternoon). Points are awarded for a win and for ends won. Highest total points wins. Game scores will be used as tie breakers,

Snacks are provided Friday night. Coffee, snacks, lunch and dinner provided on Saturday. There will also be some music Friday night and trivia Saturday afternoon.
