Message to our Members/User Groups re operations before/after end of Circuit Breaker

A Message to our Members and to the User Groups of the Cornwall Curling Club,

When the “Circuit Breaker” was announced on February 27th (and then the subsequent three-day modified red alert mandate enacted), our Club promised that we would offer one week of our “members only practice operation plan” starting Thursday, March 4th  (as per the ‘no games’ guidelines from the Chief Public Health Office) and then provide an update to Members and User Groups on March 11th:

Our club will continue with the “members only practice operations” as planned until we are advised by Dr. Morrison and the Chief Public Health Office, or our Premier The Honorable Dennis King, that the Circuit Breaker has ended, or any amendments to such.

Currently, we are planning, as announced at the start of the Circuit Breaker on February 27th, that the Circuit Breaker will be lifted at 8 am on Sunday, March 14th. This means we are planning to return to our regular club schedule and game play at that time.

(On March 14th:  Members Practice schedule 8:45 am-9:45 am, Sunday Morning Drop-In group from 10 am to 12 noon. ParaSport ‘Learn to Curl’ from 12 noon to 1 pm, Little Rockers 1 pm and Novice 2 pm programming, the first draw of the Club Championships at 3:30 pm, Doubles Curling at 6:30 pm, and any scheduled rental groups throughout the day.)

PLEASE NOTE: There are no members’ afternoon practice times on Sunday the 14th due to our Club Championships.

Our Return to Play Committee is closely monitoring these updates and plan to adjust to any changes as we go.

Thank you for your patience as we move through these unusual times.
