The Provincial Masters Curling Championships, for curlers age 60 and over, continue today at the Cornwall Curling Club, with draws at 9 AM, and 12:30 and 4 PM. Ten men’s teams and two women’s rinks are talking part, with the women playing their opening games at 9 AM and 12:30 PM. Four rinks, skipped by Ray Biagé of Cornwall, Mel Bernard and Dale Cannon, both from the Silver Fox in Summerside, and Clair Sweet from O’Leary’s Maple Leaf club, are undefeated after opening day in the men’s section, and square off at 12:30 PM.

There is no admission charge to watch the Masters, and everyone is welcome to come out and watch PEI’s most experienced curlers in action. Soup and sandwiches will be for sale at lunch time, and 50X50 draws are being held.
