A reception was held on Tuesday night in honour of the Suzanne Birt rink, who are members of both the Cornwall and the Charlottetown curling clubs, and won the PEI Scotties Tournament of Hearts recently at our Club. President Karen Currie was on hand to honour Suzanne and her rink of Shelly Bradley, Robyn MacPhee, and Leslie MacDougall for their win, to present them with a token of our Club’s appreciation for their accomplishments, and to wish them good luck at the Scotties, which gets underway in just ten days, at the Charlottetown Civic Centre.
