Another Successful “Learn to Curl” and New Members Registration

During Tuesday – Thursday of last week, 23 people participated in the Learn to Curl sessions offered here at the Cornwall Curling Club. A number of these individuals, along with a few walk-ins with previous curling experience registered for this year’s season. A special thank you to Gary O’Sullivan and Bev McCormack for doing a fantastic job managing the registrations and ensuring we were able to accommodate as many curlers as possible. At this time, in fear of an omission of someone, I would just like to generally thank the various Board of Directors and individual Club members for volunteering, whether for warmup sessions, registration assistance, or ice instruction (including stick curling instruction).

I was very pleased to hear comments from the newcomers on their appreciation for the volunteers’ efforts and the beautiful facility. We are very fortunate to have a vibrant and up to date facility. It was obvious from the newcomers they were very impressed with our Club!
