The first round is over in the Wednesday Night Ladder League, with the Robert Thibodeau rink going undefeated to win the A pool, and the Bob Fowler team winning all their games to take the B. These teams have been given their prizes, provided by sponsor Lowther’s Snow Removal.
Three teams drop down from the A pool to the B, and two go up the ladder from B to A, so there will be six teams in A for round two, sponsored by Mary’s Cornwall Bakery and seven in the B (with a bye team each week) sponsored by Griffin’s Auto Service.
Dropping down will be the Jeff Taylor rink who had six losses, and the Ray Biagé team, with four.
Three teams, skipped by Mark MacDonald, Paul Neima, and Kelly Watts. had three losses.Neima beat both MacDonald and Watts, and Watts beat MacDonald, so the Mark MacDonald team will be the third rink to drop down to B.
Moving from B to A will be the undefeated Fowler rink, along with the David Younker team with two losses.
