Wed. night draw going ahead, but be careful!

Considering we have only been on the ice once this season for Wednesday night curling,  I guess we can attempt tonight’s draw.  I note that the Charlottetown club is going ahead with theirs. The wind gusts are only to 40k until they increase at midnight to 60.  Transportation officials say  roads are snow covered but visibility remains good. It’s supposed to turn to rain showers, but not until midnight, so it’s a tough call! If you choose not to come, draws can probably be made up another night.

Here is the 4 pm forecast:

Snow at times heavy changing to a few rain showers and flurries near midnight. Snowfall amount 20 cm. Local blowing snow this evening. Wind becoming east 20 km/h gusting to 40 early this evening then northeast 40 gusting to 60 after midnight. Temperature rising to plus 2 by morning.
