Welcome to another season of the Wednesday Evening Ladder League!
We’ve got a full complement of 16 teams, with no byes.
As is our practice, our first week will be Qualifier Night, where each team will play another team chosen at random, with the winning team going into the A pool and the loser going to B.
At the end of our three rounds, the bottom three teams from A and the top 3 teams in B will swap places. There are prizes at the end of the season for the winners of both the A and B pools in each round, courtesy of our generous sponsors.
Here is the schedule (note that we have 2 nights off at Christmas – Xmas Eve and New Years eve.)
Round 1: Oct 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec. 3, 10
Round 2: Dec. 17, Jan. 7, 14, 21, 28, Feb. 4, 11
Round 3: Feb. 15, 25, Mar. 4, 11, 18, 25
Any draws cancelled due to storms, etc. will NOT be played. We have a very generous substitute policy, as we don’t want any games defaulted, so you must field one original player and three players in total to avoid a loss by default.
