After a few last-minute team and roster changes, including the addition of another team (the Donald DeWolfe junior rink), making a total of 18, the Wednesday Evening Ladder League is set to go.

There will be two pools of nine teams, with one team in each pool having a bye each night (except for this week!). At the end of each round, we will move the bottom three teams from the A pool down the ladder to B, and the top three B teams up the ladder to A. There are prizes at the end of the season for the A and B winners each round.

As we have quite a few team and roster changes, we start fresh each season, by doing a random draw for opening night, “Qualifier Night”, with the winning teams going into the A pool, and the losing teams going into the B pool for the first round robin draw, which starts on Oct. 30.

Note that this week (only) in order to give all 18 teams a chance to qualify, we be playing Five end (yes, five!) games on Ice 1, and Eight End games on ices 2-4. If you are on ice 1, please be aware that the start times for the second and third games are 7:45 and 9 pm, respectively.

Mark the draw sheet on the Wednesday board with a W or L at the end of your draw. We will be using a different scoring sheet/system next week.
