The 2021 Home Hardware Curling Pre-Trials are only a week away (Oct. 25-31) in Liverpool Nova Scotia, and the Cornwall Curling Club will be well-represented, with Club members Team Suzanne Birt, Lauren Lenentine on Team Zacharias, and Adam Casey on Team Gunnlaugson all competing for a berth (there are 2 men’s and 2 women’s team berths) in the 2021 Tim Hortons Curling Trials, Nov. 20-28 in Saskatoon. The winning Trials teams advance to the Winter Olympics in February in Beijing, so earning a spot in the Trials is a HUGE goal for our Island curlers, and all of us at the Cornwall Curling Club wish them the very best, and we will be cheering them on!

PEI’s Brett Gallant, on Team Gushue, has already earned a spot at the Trials, while Summerside native Erin Carmody, now living in Halifax, will be at the Pre-Trials, on Team Brothers.
